It’s time to run cancer out of Connecticut.

Just a little update: I have been putting in some miles and have been feeling pretty good. I most recently completed the Bristol (Rhode Island) half marathon with a time of 2 hours and 23 minutes. During the Fairfield half marathon I was approached by a mother daughter duo whom decided to chat for a little while we were running. They had asked about Seymour as I stood oout a little in my pink garb. It was so encouraging to hear what they had to say as they delivereed words of encouragement and appreciation for why I do what it is that I do. I don’t think about that end of it as I’m not running for the recognition but it was great to hear that what I was doing was getting the message out, which is the primary goal.

I run on behalf for all those that have heard those nasty words of “You have cancer”. I get out there to raise awareness and try to raise as many funds as I possibly could. All funds that I raise get donated to Seymour Pink, a non-profit organization that helps families that have heard the words of “You have breast cancer”.
